Aaqib Mir graduated with a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and began exploring technology through self-directed learning. I started with FreeCodeCamp, which led me to SICP and a deeper appreciation for programming and problem-solving. Along the way, I discovered Cisco Networking Academy, which introduced me to networking, and later TryHackMe, where I began exploring cybersecurity through hands-on labs.
While I was learning, I often felt like I was collecting pieces of a puzzle without seeing the bigger picture. That changed when I found KC7. Through its investigations and exercises, I learned how to think like an analyst and connect programming, networking, and security into a coherent whole.
Today, I'm a KC7 volunteer, ranked among the top 100 analysts on the platform, and hold the SC-200 certification. The more I learn, the more I realize there is still to learn, and that's what I enjoy most about this field.
