"I was job hunting and wanted to learn more about Threat Hunting/KQL and stumbled upon KC7Cyber. As a tester, I loved the experienced. Sure, the puzzles can be hard but that's good, it forces you to try something new, and the scenarios offer you some fresh ideas. You can go work on processes of how you work, like try a new way of notetaking, go tech and cobble up an extra fancy KQL query or just coast. And the Discord forum is very friendly too."

November 10, 2025"KC7 is practical and teaches real skills. It doesn't waste a lot of time on theoretical matters you don't need. That all comes inductively by doing the work. It doesn't spend a ton of time teaching KQL as a separate thing, but you will learn KQL by doing the lessons. Most people have to take a ton of school and then go to work where you finally learn how to actually do the job. This just skips the middleman and teaches you the job."

I was just starting out, learning about security through different courses and platforms, and I needed an opportunity to practice my knowledge and skills - KC7 was the perfect way to do that. I was hooked up from the first live challenge - it was awesome to see how much I could already solve by myself, and also to learn from the team. Because of the depth of each challenge, I think they are insightful and fun at different skill levels, because question complexity varies even within one game, and you can choose to skip any tasks (and come back later). The content of the challenges was so good and detailed, from the stories to the log data itself, and I loved the format of the questions - little independent tasks ordered in a way that helped the investigation, just the way the real professionals would work through the case. KC7 games helped me learn a lot about investigations and threat hunting, they inspired me to learn and try more, and also finishing the challenges helped my grow my confidence and appetite for more! I keep recommending it to anyone in cyber!"

"Great platform to "gameify" the defender's playground. There's so many websites to practice and train as a Penetration Tester or Red Teamer, but so little that provide a good (AND FUN) place to learn and practice Blue Team/Threat Hunter (any blue teamers really); this is were KC7 comes in play. I cannot recommend enough how great (and real) this environnement is for defensive education."
